“Went with friends in a group of four for bank holiday breakfasts. Unfortunately Marston's are extremely tight on staff and there were only two members of staff providing service, which was not enough. They were lovely and did their best but service was disorganised and slow. I must emphasise that this was not their fault. The breakfasts were good though which made the visit good overall, and I'll certainly go back.”

“Staff are always friendly in the pub/resteraunt. Sleeping accommodation is always goid(beds are very comfortable)rooms are spacious and the soundproofing and slow enclosing doors mean you will not get woken up by anyone returning in the early hours. Food choice is very good as is the food quality and I would challenge anyone the not only beat their breakfast but beat it for value as well. Yep I win. Some people may be put off that it is away from the bustle of the city but let me assure you, the parking is fantastic here and the transport links are excellent, you are within 15 minutes you are in the city by bus. I have stayed here before and I am booked to r back here again in a couple of weeks time.”

“We just stopped for a light lunch on our route. Two starters, a side, a tea and coffee. The food was great but the service was exceptional! They took such good care of us and our Border Collie. We will definitely stop here again. Thank you so much.”

“The room was comfortable and clean, and the shower was lovely so no real complaints there, although I did find the duvet too warm even with the Aircon turned right down to 17°C The food was tasty, but the portions were huge (and relatively expensive), and there was very little choice for a lighter meal. I would have liked a choice of bar food like sandwiches or baguettes with a side salad or similar.”

“Great atmosphere and is always a nice place to spend time. The food is consistently good and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I’ve never had a bad experience here, and Sam is always great whenever he’s working.”

“Very well located for the motorpoint area. We went for the ice hockey playoffs weekend. Just 10 minutes away in a taxi. Very friendly staff very nice clean rooms separate from the bar area so nice and quiet. They did a wonderful full English breakfast for just £10.99 well worth it. Fantastic service. 5 star's whould definitely stay there anytime i visit Nottingham”

“This was a quick find before heading off to Nottingham. I arrived with about half an hour to spare before the kitchen closed (8.30pm). The food was great and the service at check-in and at the bar was fantastic. The EV charging in the carpark was a welcome sight as well and my car was fully charged before I headed to bed. My room was clean and I've had one of the best nights sleep I've had in a while. I'll be staying here again if I need to be at an early meeting again. Can't recommend this place enough.”
